Once receiving the jar, that makes you the owner now through the energy exchange. Once you pay for the jar and receive it, it is now yours to work with and charge so it continues to work and benefit you as it is meant within your reality. Upon receiving your jar, spend time with it, get familiar with it; you can do this by putting it somewhere you can see it regularly, sleeping with it or keeping it near you as you sleep like on a night stand, holding it, shaking it, smelling it even (i do anoint them with my elixirs purposely and this is PART of the reason why). Write your full name and birth date on the bottom of the jar with a sharpie, this shows ownership! You can also write customized requests on the jar itself like a petition when needing something specific, just make sure your request is in alignment with the jar's correspondences; FOR EXAMPLE, if you have the Jupiter jar and need a court case to go in your favor, you would script it on the jar it self and tell it what you need, remember to always write as if it already happened! You can use sharpie to write your requests but once your requests change, you can always use alcohol to remove the script once you have received the results intended. Feel free to write multiple requests but I suggest no more than 3 at a time. Charge the jar by shaking it and saying the mantra that comes with it along with anything else you'd like to add personally, as mentioned before, you can write your personal requests on the jar itself or say it as you are charging and shaking it. Another way to charge your jar, you can light a candle next to the jar as well to charge it with the element of fire, if you do not want to write your requests on the jar itself, feel free to write it on a petition and let the jar rest on top of your petition for as long as it needs until you get the intended results. I suggest charging at least once a week on its corresponding day based on the type of jar you have. Full and New Moons work well in charging your jars as well. Last but not least,  the mantra that is suggested to be used with it, corresponds to the seal that I put inside and on the jar itself. Saying the mantra charges the seal which then charges the jar as well. Remember, a seal anchors and secures, so from a alchemical point of view, through the chanting of the mantra, it secures the work and anchors it into physical reality. When chanting, work with the numbers three, six, or nine. You can chant it or even say it in your mind as you are shaking the jar.
